WHITMAN

Excellent grainy found-footage film from the 40’s or 50’s showing swirling dancers and party hats. Part of the Three of a Kind collection of films that use old film, dancing (of sorts), and spoken word, together with music and sound design. Shown as mini cinema installation at the Phoenix Gallery last November. There was some other great footage at the start of people in funny hats doing the Hokey Cokey, which I didn’t want to cut, but couldn’t get any music to work with it. I will post the missing footage sometime though as someone may recognize their dad.
